TCU's bats came alive Saturday afternoon to overwhelm San Diego State by a score of 16 to 5. TCU was led by Chris Ellington's 4 hits, home runs by Bryan Kervin, Matt Verne and Matt Carpenter. Freshman Sean Hoelscher pitched 6.67 innings giving up 4 runs and earning the victory.
